Integral Designs Sil Poncho

This ultra lightweight multi-purpose poncho offers rain protection when being worn or slept under. Edges are fitted with light webbing tie loops and snap closures so it can be used as a tarp or turn it into a makeshift bivy, pack cover or sleeping bag cover.

Made with 30 denier parachute ripstop nylon with silicon impregnation which weighs only 1.35 oz per sq yd. This fabric is incredibly strong and resilient. There are 12 light weight nylon webbing tie loops on the corners and along the edges for versatile tarp set up.

The Poncho hood is located in the centre, and has a drawcord adjustment / closure. When worn as a poncho there is 4 ft of coverage down the wearer's front and 4 ft down the back. The poncho extends 2 1/2 ft on each side across the shoulders and arms. The back and front of the poncho can be snapped together at waist and thigh level to prevent flapping in the wind. 4 Snaps are installed i nto the the edge of the poncho through the webbing loops. The bottom edge of the poncho has a shock cord installed to enable the poncho to be snugged around the bottom of a backpack and tied off around the wearer's waist for security in windy conditions
